Coyote crossing! My friend John was on the tee box at Omni National when a coyote comes out of the brush and crosses in front of us. We later learned that this is a famous coyote nicknamed “Old Stumpy” because of the limp it has. When there a professional golf tournaments come to town, Old Stumpy ends up on TV a lot and is somewhat famous in this area.

Talk about a golf hazard! While on a recent trip to Arizona, we were playing golf at Omni National and I spotted this golf hazard one of the tee boxes. This is a classic desert golf course which you really do not see the fairway until you drive up to the tee box. This very large Saguaro Cactus just off of the center the launch point and obviously, several golfers’ aim was a bit off.

Working with some new editing software, I had taken a photo that I took with my drone (DJI Mavik) of the Paluxy River in Glen Rose, Texas early one morning. The light coming up over the river gave me some new perspective to work with. This new software allows the user to over lay any numbers of textures and previously developed user actions to accomplish this.

While spending this weekend with my daughters and her girls, we decided we needed some new photos for the family album. So on this gloomy day, I set up camera next to a big picture window which gave us a lot of natural light to work with. This shot was taken with an iPhone 12 MayPro most of the editing was done with two photo editing applications and a little in PS. If you would like to know how to do this, let me know.

Tuf Cooper is a 4X World Champion Roper and comes from a long line of Rodeo stars, His father, Roy is a 8X World Champion Roper and his brothers are top hands themselves. When his name was announced, you could hear the murmur in the area so I set my camera up behind 3 oder cowboys who were watching fro behind the chutes. When Tuf starts his warm up routine you can see all heads turn his way. He scored 8.0 seconds on this run and the closeted roper to him was 10.0 seconds. It was very obvious why he is the World Champion!

IMG_4976San Miguel de Allende is a very festive town. We were told that there were literally hundreds of weddings there every month and lots of festivals and celebrations. On this day we came across a parade in the remembrance of when this area was recognized as city. Each neighborhood had their own marketing band and in some cases, as here, costumed participants.

IMG_4708On the streets of San Miguel de Allende, I would come across scenes that may he hard for some not to ignore. Int his case, a mother selling trinkets and snacks while her daughter is asleep at he side. The local officials try to discourage this and the tourists walk across the street. I am an old softy from way back help if I can.
